21 Living wins at Homebuilder Awards
25/06/24Our Northenden Road, Sale scheme was announced as the winner of Cowgill’s North West Homebuilders Awards ‘Smaller Apartment Scheme of the Year’ at their annual event held last week at New Century Hall in Manchester.
Shortlisted amongst a strong group of projects, our conversion of an Edwardian bank into eight apartments was selected for its strategic acquisition and design, meeting market demand for quality homes and the scheme’s support of sustainable town centre growth.
We maximised the opportunity to renovate the period building, to create a charming small collection of apartments and ground floor commercial (co-working space) units.
The £2.1m GDV scheme consists of eight premium-quality apartments on the first, second and third (top) floors of the building, including six 1-bedroom apartments and two duplex apartments, with two private car parking spaces available (with electric vehicle charging), bike storage, and a vibrant urban garden.
Luke Powell, managing director of 21 Living, attended the awards evening and was presented the award by Angela Mansell of category sponsor, Mansell Building Solutions, as well as the event host and actor, Ralf Little.
On winning the award, Luke said: “We are so pleased to win an award at such an early stage in the company’s journey.
